David Hoof

David Hoof is actually the second of my OCs. (Before Vera, but after Gail.)
He was a kind of experimental personality. I was thinking about how to make my OC different, and how to make him stand out.
Most people achieve this with some sort of defect, physical or mental, and/or a troubling backstory.
So I decided to go the other direction, and create an OC who was entirely uninteresting.

Admittedly, a character with no storyline whatsoever is no fun, and he does have one small feature that sets him aside from a completely boring persona.
His wings, you may notice, are rather small. Under-developed, even.
To put it simply, he can't fly. Or, more to the point, he won't fly, and as a result, his muscles have atrophied.
Why the refusal to fly?
He's afraid of heights.

And that, my friends, is the only interesting thing about him.

(Even his cutie mark is none too exciting. It's a brain, to represent logical thinking. What a talent! Logical thinking!)
